Animal Shelters in St. Louis

Over the last couple of months, I’ve met several people who have had to put their dogs up for adoption. Although it breaks my heart to hear about something like this, sometimes people are left with no other choice. I’d rather hear that a suitable new parent was found, then hear that they had to do something much more drastic.

      Great list! Here are a couple to add – Pet’s Second Chance (www.petssecondchance.org) fosters and finds adoptive parents for Pembroke or Cardigan Welsh Corgis; and Faery Tales Corgi Rescue (www.corgirescuestlouis.org) from which we got our beloved Winston. Both are breed-specific, but they’re wonderful organizations.
